HOW TO DEAL WITH ANGER ISSUES?
4 Things To Do When You Are Angry
Do you have anger issues? Or even if you do not have, what to do when you are too angry?
We always do or say things when we are too angry. And most of the time, the results are bad. A person can hurt someone. Not just physically, but also, verbally. A person can do something he/she might regret in the end.
What can you do to avoid it? Here are the 4 things you need to do if you are too angry:
1. Take deep breaths
Inhale and exhale for atleast three times. Doing this will help you calm down. You can't do or say something rational if you are angry.
2. Recall the things that made you angry
Remember the things that made you too angry. We sometimes misinterpret things, so by doing this, you'll get a hold of the situation.
3. Think
Now that you're already calm, think. What should I do? What should I say? You should think rationally and decide what to do. It is important that you're calm while thinking.
4. Act
Do what you decided to do or say. If silence is better, then be silent.
In reality, there is no right and wrong thing to do. No matter what you decide to do, be sure that you can take its consequences. People will criticize you either way anyway. The least you can do is to take responsibility in every decision. If we are too angry, the least thing we can do is to not make things worst.
If you already made an outburst, reflect about it. If you're wrong, apologize. If not, then so be it.
Note: If you know that you make things worst if you're too angry. Calm down first. If you're not able to calm down, you better leave. It doesn't mean you're weak, you just don't want things go out of control. You need to learn how to deal with it soon though.
